Community Based Rehabilitation Service (CBRS), established in 1995 is a non profit making social organization working for and with disabled people, their families and the community. It is well established and known in the disability and community development sectors in Nepal.

CBRS regards disability as a social issue and is process orientated, with a focus on empowerment and rights. We provide rehabilitation services and assistive devices, as well as increasing opportunities for education and income generation. We work within the community to promote attitude change and increase knowledge about disability, training other organizations in this philosophy. We refer clients to other organizations when necessary.
